Shikai Release Command: Ayatsuru In'ei no Ningyôtsukai
Shikai Appearance: The form which Ryou's Shikai takes moves right along with the Shinigami's thought process in and out of combat. Normally holding his Zanpakutō in his right hand, means that his sword simply seems to mold down around it. Like a dark shadow consuming the appendage only to take on the form of a very short scale armor gauntlet. It ends a bit below the wrist, and doesn't seem to offer much in the way of armor protection, except on the top of his fingers with a red colored metal that is done in a scaled pattern for flexibility. Also the armor on the back of the hand is a bit thicker, because of its vulnerability to being hit, while the palm is more flexible.

The color of the glove like most things Ryou owns is solid black, but it is all full of a few interesting designs. All of which are colored red, and are mostly swirls or cracks going across it. The one on the back of his palm is the most intricate being that it is the image of his spirit holding a marionette with a puppet at the ends of the strings. These part though, are simple the superficial, but truly it is his Zanpkuto’s way reminding him that it is always there. So that if he ever loses a reason to fight for those around him, at least he will never forget to fight for it.

It is at the tips of Ryou's fingers that the weapon of his Shikai lay. Coming out of each fingertip is a blade, which are all strong for their size. Each one adds to the length of its respective finger by two and one half, plus they rub together quite frequently because of Ryou's nervous tick. Though it is obvious by their nature that they are not the main weapon, but are the points from which this Shinigami controls his amusing game of shadow puppets. Still that doesn't keep them from being a deadly weapon, and if Ryou is able to position himself correctly he will certainly use his Shikai to kill directly.

Name: Kage no ken (Swords of Shadows)

Description: This ability is Ryou’s main form of attack and what he uses to give his defensive fighting style a strong offensive. With Kage no ken he is able form, up to seven stabbing tendrils, either his own shadow or a shadow that he has touched with his shikai. The tendrils are made completely out of the shadow and will attempt to either stab the target or sword fight with them, since it takes an almost knife like shape. Ryou controls the actions of the shadow himself with finger movements of his Shikai if needed. If it not his own shadow that the tendril is set to come from, then he must be able to see it, and it can’t belong to another person. The use of Kage no ken is also a requirement for some of his stronger attacks, because its touch is when the strings of Ryou’ marionette attach.

Description: Kage no tate is basically the more defensive version of Kage no ken, in the fact that the tendrils are more formed to be a shield than a sword, plus is quite a bit stronger when deflecting blows and energy. Plus the number that can be deployed is reduced to 5 instead of 7 like in the sword ability. It can be deployed at the same time as 4 tendrils form Kage no ken, and at this point limits his movement, and must come from his own shadow directly. Also unlike Kage no ken, this move doesn’t have the ability to create the connection needed for his marionette strings to attach.

Name: Maddo ningyōtsukai no u~ōren (Warren of the Mad Puppeter)

Description: Maddo ningyōtsukai no u~ōren is actually a bit of a risky move for Ryou, especially if the enemy doesn’t know what is coming. With this ability he is able to create an opening in any shadow and step through by cutting it. Then afterward exit through another shadow, which was visible to him originally no matter the distance away from the entrance shadow. As long as he can see the intended exit when he goes in, that is where he will come out. The only rule like his other abilities is that it can’t be someone else’s shadow. Plus he can’t pull anyone else into these openings, but can be pulled out if you grab half way. That is where the risk lies, in that someone who has seen the ability might be able to catch Ryou before he slips away.

Description: Yami no marionetto is the ability that lives up to the name of Ryou’s Zanpakutō, though it is made more for fighting a large group of weaker opponents than a single enemy of equal strength or greater. The basic skill of this ability is that it turns the opponents shadow against them. Creating a shadow version based on the enemies current state to be controlled by Ryou. The stage of this attack is divided up into layers, the first being the person has to have been touched or there shadows have been touched by Kage no ken. If this ability can effect depends on their strength when compared to Ryou’s as well as their own reiatsu. Mostly those who are weaker than him have their shadows stolen, for his little show. The limit though at this point is up to 5 people who are 1/3 his strength. Those who are stronger than Ryou will be able to shrug off this ability most of the time, which is why he doesn’t waste the energy with it then. The rule for anyone of the same strength who step on his stage are simple… five fingers… five hits to your shadow with Kage no ken, and then it is his.

Bankai Release Command: The Mad Puppeteers Court (Maddo kugutsu-shi no kōto)
Bankai Appearance: To unleash his Bankai Ryou has to reach back and draw his claws up his back. The moment he does he speaks the name of his bankai and suddenly three black lung dragon like worms with growing blue, pink, and green eyes come out. Each of them calling themselves, “Jugde, Jury, and Jaberwocky.” They symbolize his spirits different spiritual personalities, with the first being Sukai, The second is In’ei and the third is Ningy. Also five of the sword tendrils come out, and his claws lengthen by ½. Then Jury, simply lays a stove top hat on his head. His clothing seems to become like that of a hobo like gentlemen, with belt like straps that are wrapped around his arms under his suit in a sleeve like manner, and also around his abdomen. Overall giving him an odd Mad Hatter like appearance.

Bankai Powers: Judge, Jury, and Jaberwocky: These three tendrils represent his spirit in the real word, and also talk like them. Though in a more demonic manner. The three of them are strengthened by being within the area of the Court, and also simply by the fact that they count as a defensive, and offensive tentacle. They themselves are also allowed to use an part of the court as a Warren… to dive in and out of, so that they can attack form below… or above if Ryou has been successful in feeling up a building with his courtroom. Also the ability causes six of the sword tentacles to stick of Ryou’s back along with the three spirits, and like the spirits these can be guided in and out of parts of the Court that is created. Plus they give him a speed boost.

Description: This is the Bankai’s most basic ability and it’s major purpose is that it strengthens his original abilities. What Madman’s Court allows him to do is to create shadows out of his weapon hand so long as he leaves it on spot for a set amount of time. The larger the amount of time, the larger the shadow, and this can even be done in thin air, but this shadow shrinks back in on itself in an instant. While in the area of shadow courtroom, or standing on the shadow he creates, a person instantly has there shadow stolen to be ‘judged’ which slows down movement while in the area of the Court, and strengths the attacks of the Judge, Jury, and Jaberwocky against them. Also it allows Ryou to use these shadows within the area of the Court as though they had been taken by his Marionette ability.

I would like some help with this being looked over to try and figure out how to best convert my discrpitions into appropiate ranks, and other things. I wasn't able to figure that part out which was why I have the blanks.

This might help you with rank. All of your abilities are going to be Hado or the defensive magic (which I forget the name haha) this being said all of your techniques will be intermediate or lower.

Also I cannot look over your techs unless you post your powers for your Shikai.

But I can tell you this:

You do understand I don't know what you want there... I mean the abilties pretty tell in grave detail what it does. There is nothing to put there. I mean unless there are other things avaliable for it to do I am not sure what you mean.

Well I will take that entire abilty out then :P Don't really have anything else much one can do with shadows.

The last thing is done by influancing the enemies own shadow.

Give a limitation here. How far away can he get from the shadow in order for his affects to wear off and such. Also as you will see in my note below I stated that 50+m is too much for your ability.

Range: 50 meters

Your ability stated that it was your shadow or one you touched with your Shikai. Sorry but 50 meters to stretch a shadow is way to much.

Made the above changes to shrink the distance down. Plus it explains it in the ability how far he has to be away for it to stop working.

Also I changed the abilties around to make them more appropiate and so they didn't disobey any rules.

This is too long drop all of the Shikai durations with this down. For your Nightmares of the Darkness, Ill allow at most 4-5 posts at intermediate.

Also an attempt to surprise attack form this postion will also have the same effect causing a immedate -2 drop in the current rank.

So does this ability affect you with the minus 2? And it is a minus 2 in movement? Sorry the wording of it all seems confusing.

Alright I have made the changes to the durations.

As for the wordings, what it is supposed to mean is that when it comes to the comparision of (Ryou's ability rank) verses (The enemy preception rank) that his abilities rank drops another two ranks form were ever it is currently when comes to hiding him. Which is somthing that stacks if he has been moving.

Bankai-

I dont know if it your wording but the +1 isnt justified. I would say that the +1 occurs only if you are in the courts? If it is then you can ignore me and you get an approved Bankai.


While in the area of shadow courtroom, the person is tallyed by the presence of their shadow as another defendent in the court... and so strengths the attacks of the Judge, Jury, and Jaberwocky against them.

Yes the +1 occurs only if he is in the courts...

Well some of that is just fancy wording... as for the last part, it just means that the strikes coming from the three tentacles that look like his sprirt become pyshically stronger... though I wasn't sure how to write that.

Oh and please answer me this question... is this Bankai ability stuck at Intermedate once I make it, because if it is... then I will just wait until my charater is stronger... because that makes no sense. I got jipped with my Shikai because I didn't understand wethier or not they could get stronger or not, and if they can't I would like to not waste my abilities by making them so weak.

Your abilties are based off of your stats. Therefore, the ones you app have to go by your stats

I.e you cant have a Master Offensive Magic ability while you have Intermediate Offensive Magic.

Either I am misunderstanding you or it is you misunderstanding me, but if you app an intermediate it stays intermediate. If you want that ability to move up in rank then you are going to have to reapp it and then train for it.

So like you want you Madmens Court to be adept when you move your stats to adept. Then you are going to have to reapp it as adept with proper changes and then train and pay for the new and improved ability.

Other than that your Bankai and ability are approved.
